With the 2024 edition of Armorik 15 years old, we continue to discover the possibilities offered by the thousends barrels of our warehouses. We are consolidating our core range with two more age statements. This single malt whisky is a limited edition of 1500 bottles. It demonstrates our expertise and know-how of more than 30 years and reinforces our mastery in long-term ageing.
Our master blender Erwan Lefebvre has brought together some of our finest maturation to create a unique single malt composed of whiskies between 15 and 18 years old:
• 47% : first maturation in bourbon barrels (2 years), second maturation in STR casks (13 years)
• 41% : first maturation in bourbon barrels (15 years), second maturation in Sherry Refill (3 years)
• 12% : first maturation in bourbon barrels (15 years), second maturation in 1st fill Sherry Cask, spanish oak (3 years)
NOSE
Extremely fruity and exotic | Notes of exotic fruits (pineapple, mano, melon), toasted and buttery notes (bread toast with butter and apricot jam). Small hint of pepper with a slight leather and smoke in the background.
PALATE
Gourmet and fresh | Peach jal with a little lemon, honey and quince. Heat of alcohol and a hint of spice and tobacco.
FINISH
Long and persistent | Very long on pepper and mango.
