This single malt has aged for nine and a half years in a barrel of Palo Cortado, a fortified wine from Andalusia.
NOSE
Powerful, fruity and opulent. Aromas of honey and candied melon develop into balsamic, grilled hazelnut and vanilla notes.
PALATE
Lively attack on fresh fruits such as melon, followed by a nice sweetness with notes of tangy candy, honey, liquorice and bitter orange.
FINISH
A little dry, on the dried fruit (dried apricot) and slightly smoky.
